December 31, 2002

Owen Gingerich’s description of all available copies of Copernicus’ De revolutionibus mentions two cases in which the famous book is bound in a volume together with Alvarus Thomas’ Liber de triplici motu:

  • Gingerich I.99: Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, Vatican
    > Shelfmark Palatina III. 103.
  •  Gingerich I.173: Stadsbiblioteket, Stiftsbiblioteket samling (Diocese Library Collection), Västerås, Sweden
    > Shelfmark P.O.D. X:2.
